What trip to Vegas would be complete without the side trip to the Hoover Dam. Lrae previously pointed out the wild terrain, (quite a ride for someone who has never seen the desert!), while cmore posted the actual dam site.

Picture below shows the view standing on the dam looking downriver. To the right is a vistor's center on the Nevada side, where you begin the tour down below. Middle and left of this four shot pan looks toward the Arizona side.
