If you have other data associated with the placemark, you can add it to the description (descriptions use basic HTML, so you can do some formatting). Or, you could add a link in the description to a web page on your web site which documents the data.
I think it would be better to put the information in the description of the placemarks. You could even put images of a graph, if that would help, into a description.
