I've seen your collection of S-25 (SA-1) sites. Great work!

Take a look at the outer ends of the S-25 sites closest to the presumed GALOSH and/or GORGON locations as shown on the Pentagon's ABM map (overlay attached). They all have some extra, essentially identical, facility tacked on to them. Furthermore, with only one exception (that I can find: there's an extra northeast site), these seem to be the only S-25 sites in the ring that have this facility.

I'm thinking that these sites may be the GALOSH and/or GORGON sites, but you seem to know a lot about this stuff so I'd be interested to know whether you have a different opinion as to their identity.

If you think they might be the ones (and one of these sites is definitely one of the sites shown on the FAS ABM page), there would still be a few bugs to work out, like how to account for the excess site, but nothing impossible to rationalize, I'm sure...
