Quote: Getting back to the original point (...), it would seem that there is only one operational GORGON site right now.
Bravo, Holmes!
Now we've definitely found both of the Gorgon sites, active or closed. Seems like, that guy was really on Zhuklino. Look at this photo from Zhuklino and compare it with this image of Gazelle launch silo Possibly, Gazelle and Gorgon silos are similar.
So, at present time there is only one Gorgon site. Or, maybe there is no sites at all. It is also possible. (I wouldn't completely trust that ITAR-TASS article - they are using the same sourses as we are.) Some years ago Putin said that there are no nuclear missiles around Moscow. May be it means that all missiles are kept at storages, or may be all launchers was completely dismounted.
By the way, I've attached the NGA overlays of all lo-res ABM sites builded or projected.

Quote: On December 5, 2006 Russia carried out a successful test of an interceptor of the A-135 missile defense system, deployed around Moscow. The test was conducted around 11:00 MSK (08:00 UTC) at the Sary-Shagan test site in Kazakhstan.
Some reports indicate that the interceptor was of the same type as the one tested on November 29, 2004, which was believed to be a short-range 53T6.
