This is a photo of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, taken by Yann Arthus Bertrand for his amazing "Earth from Above" project. You can see the division line that splits the city in half, it's the "green line" that makes Nicosia the last divided capital in the whole world, due to the Turkish occupation, since 1974. The city is star-shaped, due to the Venetian walls which surround it.
