CIA now seems to redirect all requests to their server to the secure version of the same page. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work properly with individual country links. From the CIA pages itself, this doesn't really matter, but for the placemarks, I had to convert all relative links to absolute links, where the complete URL is hardcoded inside the file.

So, if you want the links to factbook to work again, please re-download the placemarks from the first post in this thread.
