> I've seen the other thread, and been in email contact with PurpleLinney to give her advice, as much of the animal data in her map is inaccurate.

Bwaaaaa - I'm crushed - lol

Folks, I have to tell you, for a busy guy, Declan was VERY helpful and I was appreciative of the time he took to look at my map and provide feedback.

Declan, you probably haven't looked at my map for a while, but I removed all CE links, ND info, restructured and added a disclaimer;

"Please note that this map is being provided on a voluntary basis from someone not in the medical or scientific field. I am a researcher, providing information that is readily available in the public domain. The majority of links provided are to news sources, some of which may not be reliable.

Where possible, I will provide links to official reports from OIE (usually pdf format), WHO or CIDRAP.

The information provided in this map is not to be used for public health purposes and is for information only. "

Just doing a major CYA effort.

I have just hooked up to your latest map. Great job - kudos for your efforts! I second some of the points about the organisation of the data, but also appreciate how difficult it is to organise so much data into a methodical manner while maintaining an intuitive model!

I will wind down on my mapping now as other projects take precedence and also to allow the more accurate mapping provided by yourself to take the stage.

Best,
Lynda
