Thanks very much for this Lynda, and I'm sorry if my initial wording was perhaps a bit abrupt; I really appreciate your efforts, and I'm glad we had the chance to discuss some of the data issues tte-a-tte. The data in this area, for various reasons, is let's say less than ideal; way below the quality that one would get on say earthquake data. And human case data is, for example, way more difficult than poultry data, because of political difficulties, and caveats in the different tests and what is reported.
There is also behind all of this, a vast difference between GIS and mapping, and mea culpa, I need to do more in this respect here, but I do this in my spare time, so please be patient with the arrival of the next better maps.
My priority at the moment is getting better GIS data from the international agencies, so that one can do many more things with the data.
In any case, there will be improved, and very different maps, available soon here, and the feedback from you and the forum, is really useful.
