Excellent work on your latest map, btw. I love it.

Given the increase in the transmission of H5N1 to humans, I am not taking too much notice of the avian outbreaks but am remaining interested in the human outbreaks.

While the migratory birds are on the move and taking the virus with them, I am inclined to think that H5N1 is actually in more places that we are currently aware of (or is being reported) due to the migratory birds and it is just a matter of time before more human cases are found or... are reported.

With the closeness of H5N1 being efficiently tranmissable via humans, tracking human movements will take priority over the birds, imho.
