Hello friends of architecture,

after getting in touch with Google Earth I'm excited about an Earth Architecture Guide. And here is my first alpha release:

http://www.archinform.net/earth1.kml
(click this link to load the network link into Google Earth)

Right now there about 4000 buildings online.

It's a network link for Google Earth, which display up to 30 buildings in the actual view. If You zoom in You see more (You have to wait a little bit (4 sec.)). Right now most registered buildings are in Europe (esp. Germany).

Please let me know, what You think about it.

If You want to correct archINFORM placemarks or suggest new ones:
Make a new placemark in GE, name it with the archINFORM-ID (the ID is in the PopUp mentioned) of the existing incorrect placemark. If You want to suggest a new building name the placemark with the building title and put information in the description field.
If You have more correction create a folder and save all new placemarks there. Save the placemark (or the whole folder) as a kml file and mail this kml file to me. I will include the new data.
There are lots of buildings in archINFORM without geo data right now. If You can locate some of these buildings, I would be happy if You create placemarks for them (You find the ID for the name in the filename of the url).
If You have GE Plus or Pro You even can additionally mark the building with a polygon and add it to the new placemarks.(I going to include polygons in the archINFORM database in near future).
Maybe in future I include 3D models for some buildings, too.
