From Alice Springs through the Tanami Desert to Halls Creek in the Kimberly this mostly unsealed road crosses over 1000km of mostly unsealed road. It services a couple of Aboriginal communities, a handful of pastoral stations and a couple of goldmines. Diamantina travel up the Tanami as part of our 21 day expedition down the Canning Stock Route - the longest and most remote stock route on earth.
