Okay. I think I can add some things.
1. I located the actual silo location for Titan I OSTF-8. Your marking is on the cooling ponds for 395-A. I've placed a corrected location as well as the location of the LCC.
2. I marked the location of several Launch Control Centers. C-0, D-0 and E-0 were Minuteman II (WS-133B or Deuce) and later Minuteman III configured sites. 01-A is an active Minuteman site (WS-133A Modernized REACT-A). 01-B is a retired Minuteman II (SSAS) site. 01-E is the below ground Peacekeeper LCC. Minuteman LCC 01-C was above 01-E in an equipment room.
3. The location you have marked as LF10 is actually LCC 01-A. I've marked it and LCC 01-B next door.
4. What you have marked as LF22 is actually LF10. The launcher was converted from Minuteman II (WS-133B) to Minuteman III (WS-133AM) and the number was changed.
5. The building you have identified as the MAMS is really the PK Missile Assembly Building. The Atlas MAMS is located back on the Main Cantonment and is identified. I've also identified all the associated PK test facilites scattered around the base.
6. The Thor sites you identify as LC75 were owned by the 392d Missile Training Sq. They were later identified as SLC-1. The LE sites were also owned by the 392d and later by the 10th Aerospace Defense Sq under Project 437. I've identifed the LCC and some other interesting things on the 10th ADS site.
7. Most of the Atlas above ground sites were later used as part of the Advanced Ballistic Reenty Systems program and called ABRES sites. 576 A1/2/3 were called ABRES A1, A2 and A3.
8. Atlas 576-E is now the launch site for the Orbital Sciences Taurus booster which uses a Peacekeeper first stage and a Pegasus upper.
9. When Titan I OSTF-8 exploded in the early '60s it shot large pieces of debris all over. I've tenatively located the site of the remains of the Launcher Doors on a small hill Southwest of the site.
10. Lastly, I added the location of the Blue Scout Junior test facility. Blue Scout Junior was the first version of the Emergency Rocket Communications System later hosted on the Minuteman II at Whiteman AFB in the 351st SMW.
Thanks for all of your work locating the missile sites. I hope my contribution is useful. If anyone has any questions about the Vandenberg area, I know my way around fairly well, and can locate many more interesting places.
Mike
