Yes, yes. The building is the Comm Sq. Has been for years. But it wasn't built for Comm. The PK program paid for the place, and after the DT/OT phase was complete, the 576th FLTS was assigned to the building. Comm pulled a political move (the 576th wasn't part of the 30th SW, but instead part of the 310th Test and Training Wing) and got the place.

When were you assigned to Vandy? I was there in '93 and again '97-2000. Due to some of the work I did while there the second time, I have a real good idea of the original uses of many of the major buildings on the base. If you are looking for a good reference work for building history and usage, check out the 'North Vandenberg Facilities Study'. I am sure you can get a copy from 30th CE or XP.
