Nice thread but, I want to point out that it seems the original poster has a place mark for "Mauna Kea Beach" at Hilo Bay on The Big Island of Hawai'i. I believe that Mauna Kea beach is actually located at Kauna'oa Bay on the western Kohala coast. This is on the opposite side of the island from where the placemark is currently located, about 50 miles away "as the bird flies."
