Yes a tourist in Google Earth using tour books of Moscow to identify specific buildings. For most other places, my placemarks are from personal exprience. In the Moscow post I wrote that if I ever have the opportunity to visit Moscow I will take pictures of the places that I placemarked and revise the post.
