Look at the topo maps. Your craters are only found on extremely flat ground. They have raised concentric rings of sand more or less equal to the depth of the bays. I have drilled holes in them and they have undisturbed ground at shallow depth below them. They are not impacts. They are caused by wind made currents in shallow water on flat, sandy ground.
