nicely done. this is such an intense way to view this information, and especially looking at baghdad, you're able to get a powerful sense of the magnatude (and these were only the casualties reported in the western press!).

and cheers to google earth for making their product open enough to have users generate this type of content. thanks for inspiring me to think of my own content to create and share. the effective design of information is a powerful form of communication.

and i agree that the individual points creates a power that would be obscured by reducing it to a polygon.
