If you don't want to see the placemarks, then go either uncheck the post (it'll be either in "My Places" of "My Temporary Places") or delete it completely.

If you think that some of his information is in the wrong place, then PM purblind_horus and give him the correct locations. Bear in mind that he has obtained his information from Internet resources - you obviously have local knowledge and it might be that you could help immensely in his post.
