I commend you for your efforts. Your "Spiral Of Death" must have taken a lot of work to compile and present.
I came here just wanting to find where my Bro-In-Law is, but now I have to swim through 3,000 dots that have nothing to do with his location. I know you meant well, but it's frustrating to me, and I imagine other people too. Since your data isn't geographicly correct, it's useless for anyone looking for real map-based info.
Shouldn't all of your dots been better served by putting them the History Illustrated overlay as opposed to the Military one? The dramatic effect would have much better, as people could switch it on and off to better illustrate your point. Actually, it would have been nice if Google would have given you your own overlay.
Your artwork is akin to painting a political message all over a street sign: I know you want to raise awareness, but most people just want to know what street they are on.
