Kittatinny Mountain is one of many ridges in the sinuous Appalachian mountains that stretch all of the way from New England to Alabama. The tower on the peak, which bears a resemblance to the Washington Monument in D.C. has been recently refurbished. This is one of the few high points that has a keyhole view in fairly high resolution. Read about a trip to the peak here.
