This project is just beginning. The object of this file is to give an overview of mountaineering in Mt. Rainier National Park. Obviously the possibilities are endless!

I have started with points on the two most popular climbing routes up Mt. Rainier: the Camp Muir/Disappointment Cleaver/Ingraham Glacier route and the Emmons/Winthrop Glacier route. The points are arranged in sequence to be played as a tour for a virtual climb of the mountain.

For a different view of the mountain terrain, I have included in the file El_Che's overlay of the official National Park Service map.

I will try to add to this file on a regular basis and expand it with more links, pictures, etc., and welcome suggestions for additions.
