Here's one in Lahaina, Hawaii on Maui. The thing takes up a complete square block on Front Street near the harbor. Pretty impressive.

'Ficus Benghalensis' has been a Lahaina landmark for more than 12 decades. The tree has spread over the area via aerial roots which, when they reach the ground, grow into thick trunks. The Lahaina Banyan Tree is the largest in the United States.
