Llangernyw Famous yew tree Llangernyw is a rural,
mostly Welsh-speaking, village in North Wales.

It lies on the A548 between Llanrwst and Llanfair
Talhaiarn at the point where the Afon Cledwen, a tributary of the River Clwyd, crosses the main road.
Llangernyw is famous as the site of an
ancient yew tree.

The tree is reputed to be the oldest tree
in Britain with an estimated age betwen 2000 and 3000 years
, and can be found in the churchyard of St Digain's church.
