Globe Glider is a web application which enhances Google Earth for easier global browsing. Basically it provides information in a web window which is fully synchronized with your current Google Earth view.



Globe Glider is now available for beta testing and you can try out the following features:
- information on country, region, surrounding cities, local time and sunrise/sunset
- clickable Google Map
- topographic map overlays (where available)
- local information (Wikipedia articles, tourist guide, hotels)
- city search with suggestions
