Waitzen, I agree with you wholeheartedly (as an avid Firefox user myself).

I think Globe Glider is a really neat idea, but I expect Google will be implementing something like this on their own in the not too distant future. I would expect their implementation will definitely support Firefox as well as other browsers and OSes as well.
