Creating this file taught me some things about making directional pathways.
1) While Google Earth paths are directional, they do not show directionality except by touring the path. It would be useful to have the graphic options that one finds in digital image editors for line style and arrowheads.
2) I was able to create a pathway of arrows as polygons, even though I don't have Illustrator CS. Using the Carrara spline modeler to import illustrator splines, I could bring paths over to SketchUp as 3DS exports from Carrara. This would work so much better if SketchUp could import illustrator directly.
3) Better still, how wonderful it would be if SketchUp had tools for duplicating objects along its own spline paths!
4) The advantage of showing path graphics as polygons is negated when there are so many polygons that Google Earth automatically rasterizes them. The rasterization is very coarse.
