The first time I ran Google Earth on my Mac, I loaded an overlay image (which I originally created using Google Earth in Windows XP) and it looked fine. But every time since then, it looks like gobbledegook (see attached jpeg).

I've tried numerous overlays posted by different people; some look fine, others have the same problem. BTW, using a Windows machine the above overlay always displays properly.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or know of a fix? I've tried deleting all Google Earth preference files, as well as the myplaces.kml files, and reinstalling Google Earth. Still no luck.

I have an eMac 1.25 GHz with 1 GB of RAM.
