Text edit isn't allowing me to save it without adding one of these extensions to the file name- .rft .xml .html .doc. I'm using text edit and have followed all the steps given above... even selecting "hide extension" isn't hiding the extension... how do I get it to save without having to add something to .plist? Sorry if this is confusing, I'm not very good at this, but trying to learn...Thanks!
