The photos of Portage Glacier Alaska & Rhone Glacier Switzerland are truly shocking.

I have a deep hunch that we have not seen the last of these mighty glaciers filling the valleys. I suspect that if global warming continues at the current rate, then the mechanisms that advance a cooling period will be triggered.

.I layed down this post regarding the Missoula Floods Washington State. Caused as a result of the retreat of the Laurentide Ice Sheet 12,000BP.
