Hello,

I just signed up with Google earth and I came across your modeling for Paris. I'm a graduate student at NYU doing my thesis on an architectural Visualization using part of Google earth to orient the viewer to the site I'm using. I designed a "digial art musuem" and the site is on the Siene River. The presenation is all 3d models and graphics... I used AutoCad to generate the lines and used 3d max and Maya for the renderings.

The question I had was that I am really impressed with the building models that you generated and did you use High res images as displacement map for your polygon objects?

Or, are u involved with the lazer point surveying that translates into models....

I need to come up with surrounding buildings for my site because I'm deciding whether to use basic geometry or more complex models in some of my detailed shots...

I started modeling the Louvre and I was wondering if you had done any buildings in that area of Paris.

I think what i've seen so far is awesome.....

Any ideas would be greatly apprecated...

Thanks

Keith
