I am not seeing this behavior when I download the most recent version of the file (and have never seen or heard of it before with any earlier version). It sounds as though the file may be corrupted somehow when you download it to your PC. I suppose it may be possible that there is a hardware issue with your PC such as insufficient or defective memory or a poor internet connection.

Just for the record, I am using GE 4.3.7284.3916 (beta) under Vista, but I doubt that your using 4.2 or XP would account for the problem as no one has ever reported it before using any GE version or OS.
