I'd like to report that the new images of the city of Zagreb (Croatia), which have been in the Google Earth database from the beginning of April 2008, are misaligned to the older images: they are shifted about 20 m east and 10 m south compared to the previous images.

Actually I don't know which images are more accurately aligned to the ground -- this could be checked with GPS devices.

Here you can see a part of the new images overlapping the old images.

This problem can be best seen at the borders between the new images and previous older images, for example:

I noticed this problem first in WikiMapia which depends on the accuracy of the Google Earth database. It contains marks of many interesting places in the city of Zagreb which are now misaligned with the new images. Have a look at the position of the Zagreb Cathedral.
