We investigated the injection of two hot fluids. The first was steam with a specific enthalpyof 3200 kJ/kg, i.e., with sufficiently high enthalpy to remain superheated steam at the injectionpressure.

Note that in this study we did not address potential practical problems,or safety concerns, involved in the heating and injection of CH4, but concentrated instead on the study of general strategies that can maximize production.
