Orion it is. The long tailboom contains MAD or Magnetic Anomaly Detector. It detects minimal variations in earth's magnetic field denoting the presence of a submarine. It is at the end of a long boom in order to be as far as possible from the magnetism (=metals) of the airplane itself.
