Weather files have been around since GE started. Here is one from a year ago that includes a composite full Conus Nexrad Doppler, Storm Total, and Rain Rate from the University of Iowa. Click on any one of the three top folders. Resolution improves as you lower the altitude. A new image will start 5 seconds or so after the camera stops moving.
Also included are regional icons that open to the NWS Experimental Weather Forcasting site, as well as CONUS IR satellite, PACUS IR satellite, Jet Stream, Pressure Isobars, weather warnings, lightning strikes, and hurricane tracks.
