I think it's another wormhole to travel to distant galaxies, like the one in Tokyo Harbor. Then again, it might be one of those weird 'n wacky data anomalies. Though, for imaging something as large as the earth, things match up pretty well. But there are entertaining errors like planes cut in half, roads that seem to have just suffered from a 9.0 megaquake, hills and valleys that aren't there unless terrain is on, and of course the North and South Poles (but that's unavoidable - at least for now). They are fun to find and mark, but enjoy them while you can. Some update soon and they may be gone, only to be replaced with regular old boring imagery
