I learned about dimension exaggeration at high elevations from Shuttle over the Andes when i started to utilize a getview of the overlay for tracing out the shuttle top view.

As I built the hubble i noted the space station and its aparent lenght from overhead, and thought to myself, it would be a global blow to humanity if it ever fell from space .... nothing different with the hubble at 4000 x of its origina 44' x 15' dimensions
