I just began playing with SketchUp and had fun doing it. But I've noticed that appearance in SU is not the same a the model uploaded to GE. For example:

This is the way that a model looks in SU:


And this is the way the same model looks as displayed in GE:


Am I missing a step somewhere, or is that just the way it is when trying to depict a curved form with planes in GE? And why the huge color shift? Is it also true that an object will not cast a shadow in GE even though it does in SU?
