Wausau, Wis.: One of Wright's last Usonian residences (1958), this home was built for Duey and Julia Wright (no relation to Frank), who owned a local music store and school. The L-shaped house was designed to resemble a musical quarter note in honor of the couple's musical background. Situated on the banks of the Wisconsin River, this lovely home features a circular living room lined with windows (see photo) to capture the spectacular view. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
