I grew up in Springfield, and I remember hearing that this building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, but I was never sure it was true. It was a run-down apartment building. Today I find this forum while looking for interesting things to see with Google Earth. I read this thread, remember that house, and do a quick Google search. Low and behold, the old rumor was true.
