Here is KMZ file for Stage 18 Route Map with path/point/distance info.
Stage 18 - Thursday, July 21: Albi - Mende, 189 km After the Pyrenees stages, the Tour goes over even another mountains - Massif Central in the middle of France. And this stage is for long escaper... in 1995, Laurent Jalabert won Stage12, after a long escape and climb over Cte de la Croix Neuve, finished in Mende - it was a memorable Bastille Day stage victory.
Additionaly, in the middle of this stage, the Tour will have a sideways glance of
Millau Viaduct, the world's tallest bridge across the Tarn valley - 240 meters high.
For Google Earth, there is
a Geobloggers KML to grab the nearest 50 geotagged Flickr Photos, so I easily found the place mark of
a good flickr photo placemark of Millau Viaduct - it is included in the route map.
**See Google Earth + Flickr Hack discussion for more info about this flickr photo KML.
