The next versiopn of Arc2Earth will create SuperOverlays from any raster file in ArcGIS (it will also use regions for vector data as well). The tile cutting routines were already in the product but until the 2.1 spec, there was no good way to efficientlly load and display them from GE. kudos to Google for this support!
