Here are just a few placemarks in the Xi'an area of China, from a trip I took there last year. It includes the (elusive, apparently) actual location of the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. I have confirmed this location.

For some reason, there are lots of other placemarks around labelled 'Terra Cotta Warriors,' but they are all unfortunately incorrect. (Correction: there is another one recently posted in May '06 that is also correct.) This is the real deal, just over 1 mile east of the mausoleum/pyramid of the first qin emperor (Qin Shi Huang?).

I also included a placemark for the hotel where I stayed at Xi'an, which was quite nice (adjacent to the Bell Tower), and the train station. Note to would-be adventurers: it's great fun to take a first class sleeper train from Xi'an to Beijing. I highly recommend it if you're planning a trip across China.
