Since this thread is about the Google Earth 4 - Beta 2, and I've just installed it, I thought I'd reply to this and ask a question while I'm in here. The new Google Earth 4.0-Beta looks better, "feels" better than the other version, and seeing I just used it for a look/feel, gave it a tryout, its rather good and I think I'll enjoy using it more often.
Just a question I've seen posted in other group discussions/usenet groups: Are the images in Google Earth still at 6 years old and will Google soon update that to more current images? Why are these images showing still the same as the previous version (seems like it to me since my state's, RI, had the same colorations as before and my home base area still looks the same as the previous version. When will Google update this portion of Google Earth?
