Google Earthy images come from a variety of sources. You will find that some parts of the globe are represented in higher resolution than others. Many parts of the USA or Germany for example, as well as London or Paris or Sydney, are shown in very high detail.
These regions are usually not satellite photographs nut composites of aerial photographs or surveys.
In some parts of the world it is actually illegal to publish high-resolution images (eg Israel). However you will find that many regions - including Denmark! - provide plenty of high resolution areas to explore.
