I didn't check back for a few days and just noticed that the
english version of the list is now on the 'Community Showcase' layer. This is great news and I have to thank
UNESCO again for making the list available!
But this also means that, on the 'Google Earth Community' layer, only the
french version is still visible.
I'm writing this, because I got already several complaints by non-french speaking people living in mixed-language countries. And, because I'm afraid that those people who do not switch on the 'Showcase' layers, will start posting duplicates of their favourite World Heritage Sites.
I will try to find a solution by putting cross-language links on the descriptions, but the excerpt posted on the community layers is very limited and I don't know yet how to specifically put a link there.
Until then, just choose between the
english or
french version here on the forum by clicking the '
more ' link on the descriptions.
