Thanks, Paul - I may have to try GIMP to see how that does. I did implement an alternate solution that makes for much smaller file sizes, though. By simply removing the lower value echoes (probably not precipitating), it reduces the TIFF files sizes by > 50%. The largest file size from yesterday afternoon was about 300K. A PNG could probably make it smaller, so I may try that via the GIMP converter when I get some free time to look at it.
