I have a suggestion for the Google Earth folks. Create an option to turn the red 'Loading' overlay off. It's rather annoying in this sort of application. I would just as soon see the radar image spontaneously flip from the old one to the new one.

While you're at it, revamp the white 'Image not Found' overlay to be less intrusive. Something similar to the 'Loading' overlay would be nice.

EDIT: Perhaps you should consider putting a few layers of the radar back in, the Intellicast one showed a sizable storm this morning that didn't even appear as a blip on yours.
