It is useful to know where the data are missing, so I don't plan on taking the pinkish/purple "Missing Data" away. However, I agree that it is annoying, and so I've made it nearly transparent (low alpha), which is hopefully a good compromise. The change should kick in sometime on 15 March, as the feed is down this evening.
