The perspective of downtown Houston offers some good views of buildings. Here's a couple starting with the Chase Tower , at 1000' and 75 stories now the 9th (was 11th, ironic, huh?) tallest building in America. They wanted to build it bigger (we're in Texas after all) but the FAA refused to sign off. Have flown into Hobby many times, but once we descended directly over the downtown area. I thought the word 'skyscraper' would take on a whole new meaning! Glad they didn't let them add them extra 5 floors!!
